Sparkasse and Infinitys: digital signage as the evolution of the banking presence concept

Sparkasse, a long-established bank rooted in South Tyrol.

Sparkasse is one of South Tyrol’s leading banks, deeply connected to the region and consistently attentive to how its role within the community evolves. With the Spark project, the bank created two distinct yet complementary spaces in the centre of Bolzano: Spark Space, a place for gathering, events and connection with the community, and Spark Studio, an environment dedicated to producing and sharing digital content. In this journey, Sparkasse chose Infinitys to deliver a modern, interactive digital communication approach fully integrated into the architectural context.

Our approach

Infinitys’ approach to the Spark project was driven by the desire to bring digital technology and contemporary communication languages into a traditional banking environment, making it more accessible, engaging and alive. The creation of Spark Space and Spark Studio developed through close collaboration with Sparkasse and the architecture firm DINN, enabling the digital solutions to be integrated directly into the spatial concept and architectural design.

This process shaped two environments with different but complementary roles: Spark Space, a creative hub focused on interaction and meeting, and Spark Studio, a space for producing and sharing digital content. Both spaces reflect new ways citizens meet and interact, enhancing the banking experience through digital technologies that guide visitors and create an engaging, brand-consistent dialogue that fosters connection and community.

Architecture-first integration.

Large LED walls and monitors, precisely integrated into the architectural setting, define the identity of the Spark spaces and create strong visual impact, supported by an immersive audio system for both engagement and interaction with visitors.

A constantly updated digital programme.

The ANIMA platform makes it easy to schedule and update Spark Space content remotely, adapting messages, formats and dynamic content to different initiatives and turning communication into a live, current programme that stays consistent over time.

Direct and authentic brand dialogue.

In Spark Studio, visitors’ mobile devices connect to the screens in real time, enabling them to download materials, share content, express opinions and take part in surveys on topics such as saving and money management.

An integrated system to communicate and engage.

LED walls handle complex presentations, displays deliver dynamic content that can be updated remotely, and audio automatically adapts to the type of event hosted. Spark Space is built on a complete integration of hardware, software and content, improving communication effectiveness and positioning Infinitys as a technology partner capable of managing complex systems reliably and continuously.

Participatory engagement at the heart of the experience.

Spark Studio represents an evolution of digital signage towards a participatory engagement model. Interactive technologies allow the public to share opinions, join surveys and actively contribute to content, transforming the space into a bidirectional communication hub that reinforces Sparkasse’s positioning as a bank focused on innovation and its relationship with the local community.
